Our
club works hard to provide varied events to suit our members interests.
We also combine events with local clubs such as the South Canterbury
Triumph Owners Club, Classic Cortina Club and Rover Club. From time
to time we hold an event that goes down in the club history as a major

To celebrate the auspicious 75th Anniversary of TRIUMPH, 12 fabulous
Triumphs and 23 particpants drove 440 miles (708km) from Christchurch
to Westport and return. The route took in the scenic Arthur's
Pass Highway 73 through to the West Coast and up the wild spectacular
road to Westport for the overnight stop.
Day two took in the famous Buller Gorge and then on to the Lewis
Pass through the Southern Alps where the hot pools at Maruia Springs
awaited. The weather was perfect, each Triumph never missed a
beat (blocked fuel injector doesn't count!). |

Held
the year before with a total count of 47 Triumphs, it was intended
to try and double that in Hagley park in Christchurch, where
the total soared to 137. Many great photos were taken of the
occasion which was the final event of the 10th Anniversary weekend
celebration of the Triumph Owners Club.
