Triumph Cars National Weekend Gathering Dunedin 25-26 January 2020
I'm getting to the final stages of planning a weekend driving our Triumph around some incredible roads that I have found in Otago . The big news is I want as many people as possible to join us.
The plan is to catch up on Friday evening 24th January in Dunedin for a few drinks and chats. If you’re still travelling just meet us on Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning we leave Dunedin and wind our way to Alexandra for lunch wherever you choose. We can park our Triumphs at Pioneer Park in the middle of town. The Farmers’ Market is also on, so the cars will get many visitors.
Leaving after lunch, there are diversions onto great driving roads all the way back to Dunedin. We will have dinner together at Equinox restaurant, St Clair in a group area, where you will pay your own food and drink. They have a courtesy van if you wish to partake.
On Sunday morning we drive more great back roads to Oamaru and once again park next to the Farmers’ Market. Explore the Victorian precinct and grab lunch wherever you want.
Meet back at the cars after lunch to close the trip and debrief on the whole experience .
There will be no cost at all as long as you print your own instructions, which I will send you by email.
It will be open to all Triumph cars so get the word out. I will do a Facebook page once I figure out how. I will also share with all Triumph clubs.
I will need final numbers seven days beforehand to confirm with the venues. Please email me at the below address to get added to the mailing list.
Looking forward to seeing you all, Steve King
